📢@PortaltoBitcoin just completed an audit with Grey Swan:
15 findings in core contracts, 7 in Solana HTLC → all critical & high-risk fixed.
Upgrades: Safer delegation, Dynamic timelocks, Safe math, Optimized access control.
Critical resolution <72h, high-risk patch in a few days.
Portal is not just a DEX → but a cross-chain execution layer with:
Native BTC (Lightning)
HTLC swaps
Cosmos consensus + EVM
Decentralized validator orientation
Result: one of the most comprehensive audited cross-chain systems in DeFi, security-first, future-proof.
I used to think @Lombard_Finance was like other LST protocols. But looking closer, I realized they are playing on a completely different field.
LST is just a byproduct, a tool to absorb liquidity. Lombard's core is the infrastructure to push BTC to multiple chains, similar to what WBTC or cbBTC are doing - and in fact, this is their real competitor.
From that perspective, Lombard is more like a stablecoin issuer than an LST protocol. Circle or Tether issue USD onchain, Lombard does the same with Bitcoin.
This is clearly shown by katana $BTCK - a completely new product based on Lombard's infrastructure. It proves that Lombard is not simply an LST, but a BTC infra protocol - a separate category.
And the interesting thing is: going in this direction, Lombard has almost no growth limit.
Listen to Balajis on @a16z say something quite true:
“AI doesn’t work from start to finish. It only works from middle to middle. You have to prompt it and then verify it yourself.”
This is actually the biggest bottleneck of AI: output validation.
And that’s also why I find @Mira_Network interesting they’re turning verification into something that can be done automatically, with code, instead of relying on humans.
If AI can be “closed-loop” with programmable validation, the game will be different.
