During the September Analyst Call, @Josh_E_Wa, COO at the dYdX Foundation outlined how the protocol sustains its edge as competition in on-chain derivatives intensifies:
“For a perpetual trading platform, competitive advantage comes down to performance.”
Josh emphasised that initiatives such as Designated Proposers and the Order Entry Gateway will significantly reduce latency and improve block times - advancing toward a CEX-quality experience while maintaining decentralisation.
With over $1.4T in cumulative trading volume, @dYdX continues to prove that scalability, resilience, and execution speed can coexist with the principles of open finance.
