Following the incredibly successful launch of MEGAWEAPON on @AbstractChain, we are excited to announce that a totally redesigned $WEAPON token is coming to Abstract in Q1! __ The all new $WEAPON token is designed to reward loyal holders of the old token and the DEGEN NFTs while also creating a valuable incentive structure for the players of the MEGAWEAPON game! Additional DeFi and LP incentive mechanisms have been added to boost the long term sustainability of the tokenomics and provide ongoing incentives to holders and liquidity providers. The $WEAPON token generation event on Abstract will take place in Quarter 1, 2026, date and details TBA. __ Effective immediately, we have pulled all existing liquidity of the Avalanche based $WEAPON token, and snapshotted the current holders. Trading of the old token will be suspended in preparation for the token redesign and relaunch. Existing holders will receive 4 new $WEAPON for each old $WEAPON they held, airdropped to the same EVM wallet address where their existing tokens are held on Abstract following TGE.
