The state of Ethereum resembles the era of the Three Kingdoms.
We see ongoing liquidity wars, fragmented users and states across numerous L2s.
@ComposeNetwork is spearheading the reunification of rollups, restoring what makes Ethereum unique.
Let's dive in 🧵

► The State of Ethereum L2s
According to data from @L2beat, there are now over 100 rollups operating on Ethereum.
While these rollups address scalability issues, they also challenge Ethereum's core concept of money lego (synchronous composability) which makes it exceptional.
▸ Asynchronous settlement and transaction processing
▸ Bridging risks and delays
▸ Fragmented user base
▸ High bootstrapping costs
▸ Value shifting away from $ETH
@ComposeNetwork resolves this by bringing synchronous composability across rollups.

► Compose Network
Compose is Ethereum-aligned, ZK-powered, Based-composability later that enable instant, atomic, synchronous transactions across L2s.
It's leveraging Based Shared Publisher, 2-Phase Commit Protocol (2PC) and leveraging @ssv_network validators that enables:
Atomic & synchronous L2↔L2 calls whilst preserving L2 sequencer sovereignty.

► How it Works
▸ @ComposeNetwork uses a Based Shared Publisher (SP) to sync sequencers from different rollups for instant, atomic cross-rollup transactions
▸ Sequencers fill mailboxes with transaction data and simulate cross-rollup calls before executing
▸ Two-phase commit (2PC) ensures all parts of a transaction succeed or fail together, keeping it atomic
▸ Ethereum validators running on @ssv_network DVTs run the shared publisher to verify transactions with ZK proofs, ensure low latency, cost and security.
▸ Validators then publish an aggregated proof on the Ethereum mainnet in the same block
▸ The shared deposit bridge (SDB) transfers assets across rollups without wrapped assets or third-party liquidity
▸ Transactions bundle into a single ERC-4337 user operation, making it seamless for users

► Why Compose Matters?
Compose is important because it not only returns value to Ethereum but also benefits other cohorts including $SSV holders, as explained in our infographic below:

► How it Differs from Others
Conversely, Compose differs significantly from solutions like LP/intent bridges, which rely on various factors such as solvency and rarely ensure cross-chain atomic execution.

► What Can You Achieve with Compose?
The potential of cross-rollup synchronous composability offers significant opportunities and innovative use cases, including:
▸ Instant cross-rollup swaps
▸ DEX aggregation
▸ Cross-rollup flash loans and arbitrage
▸ Unified lending or credit markets
▸ Unified NFT markets
And many more

► Wrap-Up
Rollups are increasingly popular as an infrastructure solution, but they also pose challenges related to fragmentation.
While several interoperability solutions have emerged, none have achieved true atomicity and composability.
@ComposeNetwork seeks to address this by becoming the first Ethereum-aligned composability layer for all rollups while preserving sovereignty.
