Estate protocol have been crushing it ever since setting up shop in the states and I can only imagine this chart continues up and to the right. TVL at 7.5m & is quite scalable imo.
Here’s how it works;
1) You select a property from their catalogue
2) select the number of tokens you’d like (tokens here represent a fraction of the shares of the property)
3) Start receiving rental income
Many teams are working on bringing tokenised TBILLS, Stocks etc.. but I genuinely think RE onchain is one of the most under appreciated markets in crypto rn. The global real estate market alone is worth around 10 trillion so it’s a massive opportunity.
Bringing RE onchain makes so much as it allows for;
- Global access
- Frictionless (simply own via usdc)
- Open to all sizes of NW
- Allows you to diversify your assets while staying onchain
- More liquidity
