We recently worked with the Compound Governance Working Group @AranaVentures @PGovTeam and the Compound Foundation to publish a new Governance Code of Conduct. The Goal: keep signal high, reduce noise, and align votes with Compound’s long term mission. 👇
2/ What’s inside: • Professional conduct: debate the idea, not the person • Voting guidelines: mission alignment, process integrity, brief public rationale on major votes • COI: disclose material ties, and recuse when appropriate
3/ Enforcement is clear and measured: warning → temp suspension → permanent ban for severe/repeat issues. Community-funded roles are held to a higher bar. The aim is not punishment, it is protecting the process.
4/ For delegates: we included a Delegate Platform template (principles, history, voting philosophy, disclosures). One link you can share with COMP holders to set expectations and build trust.
